How many pictures will you take on my wedding day?
The number of pictures I take generally depends on the amount of time booked and the number of guests. I think
Our wedding is taking place early in the day, but we would like sunset photos?
No problem. We can either spend part of the booked time at the wedding and then I can return later in the evening for sunset shots or we can book the sunset shots for another day.
How quickly will we get our photos?
I always aim to have your photos ready before you leave however if its a very busy time of the year and your leaving shortly after the wedding then the photos will follow. The photos are generally ready within 5-10 working days. If you leave before the photos are ready, you will get to see the photos as soon as they are ready in your private online gallery which you can share with friends and family and then you will be sent by email a link to download all of the high-resolution files. Once downloaded you can then save the photos to your computer, disk or any other media and if you wish you may order prints or wall art etc.
Our wedding is being held on the other side of the island. Will you be able to help?
Yes. I cover the whole of Southern Cyprus (the Greek side) including Pissouri, Limassol, Larnaca, Nicosia and Famagusta, subject to a supplement for the extra traveling time and fuel. A list of the supplements can be found above.
What happens if you get sick and aren’t able to cover our wedding day?
This is something that I cannot control, but rest assured I would not be letting you down for any standard illnesses. It would have to be something extremely incapacitating to prevent me working. In which case, if I were able, I would do my best to make arrangements to ensure you had a photographer at your wedding. I have a lot of contacts in the area and I am part of a network of photographers online, so I am absolutely positive this would not be a problem for you. Fortunately, I’m young and healthy and in 16 years, I have never missed a wedding:-)
We are interested in a wedding album or Storybook but can’t decide?
Our wedding albums have to be pre-ordered from the UK and I will be happy to send you links to examples. I can show you examples of Storybooks when you get here and then you can decide if you would like to order one or not.
How do we pay?
Payment can be made by bank transfer in British Pounds in the UK or by Pay Pal (either PayPal Transfer or by Credit Card via PayPal). Please note that payments made via Paypal weather transfer or credit card, carry a 3% commission to cover PayPal’s fees. For bank transfer, there is no charge. Details will be provided at the time of booking depending on your preferred payment method. Please note that for all bookings, a small deposit of £100 is required to secure your date with the full balance payable 2 months prior to the date of the wedding.
Once we pay you, do we get the full copyright to the photos?
Unfortunately, the photos provided are not copyright free, as the law states that copyright stays with the person who presses the shutter button. However, the photos do automatically come with my permission to use them as you see fit, for personal use only. The only time there is a problem is if you use the photographs for commercial purposes and make money from them. This is copyright infringement. So, for example, you may freely print and distribute the photos to your friends and family, make prints for an album, put posts on Facebook etc but if you wish to use them for any commercial purposes such as putting them on a business website to promote that business or for any other commercial purpose then you would need to seek my permission to do so and if such permission is granted it will usually involve a fee being paid for a commercial license.
Can we meet you before the day?
I always like to meet before the day of the photography however due to my time constraints I can only meet with you at my studio which is located in central Paphos. So once you have booked your wedding photography, we can then arrange an appointment to meet when you are in Cyprus.
