Dima and her family and guests were very much fun and it was a pleasure to photograph their special day.

A few kind words from the lovely couple:

Hello Dino,
Hope you are well.
It was a pleasure meeting you and working with you, you made it so easy for me (usually I don’t like to pose for photos).
I love the photos, they seem very spontaneous, and love the ambiance and spirit you added to them based on your expertise (not the Photoshop but the way you take photos make them so alive!)
Thank you ever so much and we look forward to receiving the album.
We are amazed by the video. We love it! And all people who saw it said that it is very creative and spontaneous (just like I wanted).

Hello Dino,
Today I received the album. It is amazing. I love it!
I had no idea that this is the way you print the photos. I thought they were gonna be paper photos (like the old days). But this is amazing!
By the way, everyone is asking me: who is the photographer?? People are no longer used to this elegant simplicity ;).
Albert & Dima

Thank you again. Everyone is happy with the photos, video, and speeches.
I am definitely recommending you for our friends who would like to get married in Cyprus.
Have a nice day.
Kindest and warm regards,
Albert & Dima

Below are a few of my favourite photos for the day.

Steve & Rose’s Renewal of Wedding Vows

Kerry and Steve came out for a holiday with their four charming children. One of the reasons for their visit to Cyprus was to renew their weddings vows after 7 lovely years of marriage.

Cyprus is a beautiful island full of wonderful places to visit. Along with the assistance of Mandy, The Villa Group Wedding Planner, Kerry and Steve chose their ceremony to be on the beach with a beautiful setting of the famous Aphrodite’s Rock in the background. It has been marked as the birthplace of Aphrodite, goddess of love and fertility since the ancient times. Petra Tou Romiou, the rock, is located off the shore along the main road between Paphos and Limassol.

It was an attractive, outdoor ceremony and although the weather was a little overcast it was lovely and warm and the rain stayed away. The couple were very affectionate towards each other and the ceremony was very touching, full of love and laughter. Their children were involved in the ceremony being so caring and supportive to their parents and making it a real family experience.

It was a privilege to be part of such an intimate celebration and we were glad to be able to capture all those special moments for them to look back on.

A few kind words from the lovely couple:

“Just want to send a massive THANK YOU to Mandy who did our beach wedding at Aphrodite’s Rock on Saturday!! She was on the ball with dodging the bad weather so our day was beautiful & she cleared the beach so no interference or background people in the pics!! Our photographers & videographer where brilliant & Mandy managed to get our photos & film to us before leaving Cyprus! The pics are fantastic & the film is amazing! A big thanks to Kasia and Stefano! Such wonderful memories! Can’t thank you enough Mandy, you are the diamond of Cyprus & we hope to meet you again next year when we’re in Paphos again if you have time Ste & Rose, & kids Leah, Levi, Emma & Esmae”

Cyprus is the leading destination for Weddings!

Cyprus is the champion in wedding tourism, with over 10,000 civil marriages held so far in 2016.

Particularly promising upward trend followed by the wedding tourism in Cyprus in recent years. Indeed, amongst EU Member States, Cyprus is considered as the most popular wedding destination, with enviable performance. The last three years the wedding ceremonies of foreign tourists in our country have significantly exceeded 8,000, and this year, he said the “F” well-informed source, it is estimated that there are all the conditions to overcome the barrier of 10,000 ceremonies annually, political and religious.

8.5% of our tourist arrivals can be attributed to wedding tourism, but the fact that one in two Britons choosing to marry abroad do so in Cyprus, says on its lot. Extremely high is the percentage of Lebanese residents who choose Cyprus for wedding tourism. From all of this specialized outbound tourism from Lebanon, 80% choose Cyprus. Cyprus as a wedding destination is also very popular among Russians, as well as Israeli tourists.

In the rapidly developing field of wedding tourism in Cyprus, dominant position, with 50% of the total, holds the British market with top preference Paphos. According to official data released by the Cyprus Tourist Organisation from 8,000 marriage ceremonies were performed in 2014 in Cyprus, 4,000 were British citizens, who have the first choice Paphos second free Famagusta. Throughout the wedding tourism, regardless of nationality of the newlyweds, the lead held again Paphos and Larnaca below.

According to data from the municipal authorities, in 2014 took place about 8,000 marriages. First in marriages was the Paphos with 31% followed by 28% Larnaca and Famagusta with 25%. Lower numbers show the Limassol (9%) and Nicosia (7%).

The reasons that marriages abroad are becoming more popular is because couples wishing to combine their wedding and honeymoon with something different and with good weather. An important factor is also the cost. In the UK the average cost of a wedding is £21,939, while abroad the ceremony costs £7,000-8,000.

It is worth noting that following the recommendation of the Ombudsman, the amendment of the Marriage Law has begun to institutionalize the celebration of weddings and tourists in places outside City Hall, such as in hotels, beaches, castles, wineries, boats, etc. in order to further develop wedding tourism.
